So a couple of summers ago, my friends John and Gabe and I were bored so we started a little band in order to play some shows and keep our selves occupied the final weeks of summer. This band was called Double Wonderful. After that summer, (when john and gabe went back to school) Matt joined and the band, i started playing piano and the band became what its known as today. BUT originally, it was the 3 of us (john, gabe and I). We worked on each others tunes, and played some shows. This song was one of John's. It was recorded in my basement. I'm playing Drums, Gabe on bass, and John on guitar. Gabe sings the verse, John sings the Chorus and I did the "Oohs" in the verse and the harm on the "Baby's Drool" line in the chorus. I think John probs re-did the tambo. other wise, i think thats me? anyhooo......take a listen. my drum take is nast. 2 takes. kids a proff.

So this isnt real, this dude is this Bobby Keller. He has a show (on public access) in Scranton PA. He (like us) is into the whole fuggin with the audience kinda thing. Keener sent me this. I dont know how he found it. regardless, its the best.

FUCK YES! the guys building his own castle! like as much as this dude is bonkers, like this really got to me. like the whole "fuck off, im doing it my way" additude. Like the building is awesome. is crooked, its ugly, its the 40 year work of a true maniac. so sick. in his interview hes spewing off a bunch of disgruntled psycho babble but a few lines in there really are awesome words of wisdom that can be applied to all things in life (esp. artistic ventures) "engineering without money is ingenuity" FUCKIN A! so if you've noticed, cause i just have, all the videos and stuff i'm talking about here are all people with their own independent/DIY styles. the one guys making up his own skateboard style, another guys doing his own style of comedy in PA, we made our own reco and jim bishops building a castle.
